What are the current job openings?
All job openings are posted in the “Career” section of our Internet site with a description of the tasks related to the position and the required qualifications.

It is difficult to anticipate upcoming needs. However, it is suggested that you visit our site regularly in order to see every job opportunity.

You can submit your resume anytime, even if there are no job openings that correspond to your profile or expectations. We keep resumes active for a period of 12 months in United States and indefinitly for our offices in Canada. We can therefore analyze your application against the positions available, and for those that become available in the near future.

How does the selection process develop?
The selection process usually takes about 1 month. Depending on the position to be filled, it may take a few more weeks.

It is important that you send your resume as soon as you can, for any positions which interest you, in order to facilitate the management of the resume.

These are the process steps:

  1. Evaluation of the resume received.
  2. Telephone interviews (selected resumes only).
  3. In-house interviews (applicants selected following telephone interviews).
  4. Verification of references.
  5. Offer presented to the successful applicant.

The positions are simultaneously posted in-house as we encourage promoting from within our ranks.

Even if there are no job openings that actually correspond to your profile or your expectations, your resume will be active for a period of 12 months in our US offices and indefinitly in our Canadian offices. During this period, your resume will be analyzed for every position that corresponds to your competences.

We recommend that you send an updated copy of your resume if there is any changes in your situation.

I would like to know if the position I am interested in has been filled.
Positions are considered open as long as their description is posted in the “Career” section of our Internet site. If the position is no longer posted, it means that it has been filled.

If your resume was not selected for a particular position you desired, we will keep your resume active for any futureopenings, for which you are qualified.

If I see another job offer that interests me, and that I already sent you my resume, should I send off my application again?
You do not need to send in your resume each time, as your file is active for a period of 12 months at our US sites and indefinitly at our Canadian sites.

However, it is important to send a new copy of your resume if it is no longer up to date in regards to your education or any new work experience.

How is it possible to know the salary scale related to a particular position?
Anapharm is a young and dynamic team that offers its employees competitive wages and an excellent range of fringe benefits. It is not the policy of the company to reveal the wage scale at the beginning of the process. The wage offered will be established following the analysis of the experiences and skills of the applicant.

The compensation offered will be consistent with the experience and expertise of the applicant, and it will adhere to the pay equity of the company.

What are the work schedules? Do I have to be available on the evenings, at night and during the weekends?
The work schedules are usually mentioned within the job description that is posted in the “Career” section of our Internet site. Of course, some positions have different work schedules, according to the needs of the division to which they are related.

Positions such as nurse, technical support or medical laboratory technologist will necessitate variable work schedules. Work premiums will be added to the wage for evening, night and weekend positions in some of our clinics.

During the telephone interview, information about the work schedule of a particular position to fill will be clearly stated before continuing the selection process.

Do you hire students?
Yes we hire students throughout the year according to our needs. However, the summer period remains the more favorable. The strongest demand comes from the laboratory of our Bioanalytical division in Quebec City, Canada (laboratory technician, sample controller, technical support, quality control inspector and data processing technician represent some examples).

The students in medical laboratory technology, analytical chemistry, chemistry-biology leading to a college diploma or with an academic level, but with a college diploma obtained in one of the discipline mentioned above, will need to send intheir resumes in February for summer positions.

I am seeking for an internship, and your company interests me a lot, may I submit my application?
We will be pleased to examine your request for an internship within our company. However there are limited places available because we are evolving in the research field where confidentiality is crucial. We must keep some control on this matter.

Do you hire nursing assistants and/or health care attendants?
Yes, our Clinical Division (Québec and Montréal) offers nursing assistant/health care attendant positions.
